Baguette

There’s days you remember and days you must forget.
Tell me how before I eat this whole baguette.

As love is a thief of sleep, I sit here counting sheep,
it’s a giver of fears for I sit here and weep.

Along the lines of almost, it lingering in the outskirts of fantasy.
How beautiful it was to know this ecstasy,
While all along they pointed, named it lunacy.

Lines once drawn do fade,
Boundaries blur…
Bleeding into another changing color, changing shape,
This too you will incur.

Limitless it really was but lines
And lines…
And lines…
And lines… you chose to draft
Tell me was it all just about your love shaft?
