What started in Eden
All fell to flames

For a wickedness like you
I can’t imagine a being to tolerate it

As bad as it went, it felt so good
Knowing you cared to make it worse

I tripped up again
On the same stone
In the same place

It can’t be anything normal
To end up choosing so badly

A complete expert I am
Knowing the games played you

Repeating my mistakes
There isn’t a worse blindness

I’ll admit, the ring blinded me further
But its just another stone to trip upon

Walking out the car
Will never be taken for that ride

Got that beat in my step
It feels so good now

I can turn around for a look
But I’ll never look back, only smile

Temporary as everything in this world is
So you and I are
