I, mere kitty am your friend.

You can lean on me while in hard times,
Although I may have loss of blood flow.
I will give you the shirt off my back if need be,
However there might be some hairs or catnip here and there.
My friend, you have been the only one,
I ran to when giving up was the only option.
Perhaps to call you my friend is not even close,
As I can only see you as my best blessing to have known.
No words can do you justice to what you mean to me.
No songs nore poems describe what we have been through together.
Through it all, we come out laughing…especially at the weeee
Hours of the night as delirium sets in.
And so I will always carry the weight of your balogna.
